MODULE 2 Enactivism, Affectivity and Social Cognition (3 ECTS)
The course explores the intersections of enactivism, phenomenology, pragmatism and psychoanalysis, emphasizing the embodied nature of human cognition and its implications for social interaction. Grounded in the enactive paradigm, the course critically explores how cognition emerges through embodied interactions with the world, investigating the centrality of the body as both the site of subjective experience and the medium through which we encounter others. The course will also engage with psychoanalytic insights, considering how unconscious processes and intersubjective dynamics shape and are shaped by embodied social cognition.
