MODULE 5 Ecological crises and ecofeminism (6 ECTS)
This course explores the profound connection between environmental crisis and practices of care through an ecofeminist perspective that intertwines philosophy and psychoanalysis. It delves into the concept of the “Anthropocene” as an era marked by human impact on the planet, examining its ethical and relational implications, with a focus on envisioning and fostering collective relationships capable of overcoming the fragmentation and isolation produced by oppressive structures. Drawing on the works of thinkers such as Jessica Benjamin and Donna Haraway, the course reinterprets care as a practice of generative and interconnected relationships, emphasizing the need to imagine new forms of belonging and sustainable coexistence, both among humans and across species.
